East Beechboro Primary School
Every year, East Beechboro Primary School in Western Australia plants trees in the school grounds and within the local community.
In 2003, they concentrated their efforts in the junior play area on the fence line. Each class planted a tree, with the school planting a total of 18 trees.
The school has plans to establish a shade house, which will enable them to start a Community Environmental Outreach Program. This will specifically target houses in the local area, as well as grow trees for sister shire Westonia.
