National Tree Day in Mullaley
Mullaley Primary School students in NSW joined with Bushland Regeneration students from Gunnedah TAFE to spend a morning preparing their Tree Day site.
The State Forest nursery supplied some of the trees for the day, the rest of the trees and shrubs came from the Horticultural section of Gunnedah TAFE.
After a barbeque lunch supplied by the Mullaley P & C, the whole school body braved the cold, windy conditions and with assistance from the TAFE students put in the ground a variety of native shrubs and trees.
