Yarrawonga Public School
On Friday 1st September 2006 Yarrawonga Public School students from grades 3 and 4 spent a busy few hours planting native trees and bushes. They worked with South Yarrawonga Landcare and North East Waters at the Water Treatment Plant.
East Beechboro Primary School
Every year, East Beechboro Primary School in Western Australia plants trees in the school grounds and within the local community.
National Tree Day in Mullaley
Mullaley Primary School students in NSW joined with Bushland Regeneration students from Gunnedah TAFE to spend a morning preparing their Tree Day site.
Environmental Education in Action!
Students at Bentleigh West Primary School in Victoria organised their Tree Day event with help from a local AMP Financial Planner. Their aim was to plant species to enhance biodiversity values within the school gardens.
Baldivis Children's Forest Western Australia
The Baldivis Children's Forest has grown from a single schools tree planting day to a year round project with enough corporate funding to employ two part time staff.
