IKEA 2007 Competition Entry From Annandale Public School

Primary schools in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland can win a $1000 IKEA Gift Card through the 'IKEA Create a Mosaic Mural Competition'.

To be in the running to win a $1000 gift card for your school, follow the steps below:

  1. Register your school for 2008 Schools Tree Day - for a guide on how to get involved visit our Schools Page
  2. Create a Mosaic Mural
    1. Each child in the class should draw or paint a picture of your School's Tree Day planting activity.

      OR your favourite Australian tree.
      OR your favourite native animal(s) in a native Australian tree.

      You are not restricted to drawing and may use mixed media/collage format if you so wish.
    2. Connect your class' pictures together to make a Schools Tree Day Mosaic Mural!

      Remember to clearly include with your mural:
      Your school's name, address and phone number.
      The name of your Schools Tree Day site coordinator and site ID number.
    3. The final artwork should not be larger than 1.2 metres high by 1.8 metres long.
  3. Roll or fold carefully and post by Friday 15 August 2008 to

Terms and Conditions:

This competiton is open to primary schools in NSW, QLD and VIC. It is a skills based competition and will be judged at the discretion of a selected panel from Planet Ark, IKEA Homebush Bay Drive, IKEA Richmond and IKEA Logan.

The winners will be decided on the 29th August 2008 and contacted by phone. The best entries will be exhibited at IKEA, above locations, and winners will be presented with their prizes in the above stores on Friday 5th of September 2008. Planet Ark and IKEA reserve the right to use submissions for print and web related promotion. IKEA Gift Card is not redeemable for cash.
