About the Program

MYRiveR involves schools in assessing the health of their local environment, surveying their community and then developing their own vision for the future and action plans for youth driven projects to achieve this vision. It engages, equips and enables young people and their communities to care for our rivers, our land and our future.

MYRiveR programs are currently running in the Murray-Darling Basin, Sydney (Cooks River), Adelaide (Onkaparinga River), Melbourne (Yarra River) and Hobart (Derwent River) and involve thousands of young people.
